Erreur de compilation pour la carte ESP32S3 Dev Module

Par avance UN GRAND Merci pour ceux qui prendront le temps de répondre .

Hello Everyone

I use ARDUINO downloaded with Microsoft store.
The version is the one above. However it seems that it crashes due to windows11 S.
Have you ever encountered this problem but above all do you have a solution.
Clarification: I don't want to unlock S mode.

So, All information are Above (french version)
And I wish in advance thank all the people providing an answer

Hi @nico1616. I'm going to ask you to post some additional information that might help us to identify the problem.

:exclamation: NOTE: These instructions will not solve the problem. They are only intended to gather more information which might provide a clue that eventually leads to a solution.

Please do this:

  1. Select File > Preferences from the Arduino IDE menus.
  2. Check the box next to "Show verbose output during: ☐ compilation".
  3. Click the OK button.
  4. Select Sketch > Verify/Compile from the Arduino IDE menus.
  5. Wait for the compilation to fail.
  6. You will see a "Compilation error: ..." notification at the bottom right corner of the Arduino IDE window. Click the COPY ERROR MESSAGES button on that notification.
  7. Open a forum reply here by clicking the Reply button.
  8. Click the </> icon on the post composer toolbar.
This will add the forum's code block markup (```) to your reply to make sure the error messages are correctly formatted.
    Code block
  9. Press Ctrl+V.
This will paste the compilation output into the code block.
  10. Move the cursor outside of the code tags before you add any additional text to your reply.
  11. Click the Reply button to post the output.

In case the output is longer than the forum software will allow to be added to a post, you can instead save it to a .txt file and then attach that file to a reply here:

  1. Open any text editor program.
  2. Paste the copied output into the text editor.
  3. Save the file in .txt format.
  4. Open a forum reply here by clicking the Reply button.
  5. Click the "Upload" icon (image) on the post composer toolbar:
    image
  6. Select the .txt file you saved.
  7. Click the Open button.
  8. Click the Reply button to publish the post.

Alternatively, instead of using the "Upload" icon on the post composer toolbar as described in steps (5) - (7) above, you can simply drag and drop the .txt file onto the post composer field to attach it.

Hi Ptillisch.
Thanks a lot for quick reply. below as asked please found the message

Erreur de compilation pour la carte ESP32S3 Dev Module

Hi. Sorry for the slow response. I asked for the verbose output because from the previous information I wasn't sure whether it was cmd.exe itself being blocked or some other application that was being executed via cmd.exe.

I can now see that it is indeed cmd.exe.

You will need to modify the settings of the Microsoft Defender security software to allow Arduino IDE the use of cmd.exe if you want to use the ESP32 boards platform. If your security settings are managed by a systems administrator then you should contact them about the problem.

Something to note is that is it relatively rare for boards platforms to use cmd.exe. For example, none of the official Arduino boards platforms use it. So if for some reason it is not possible for you to overcome this security restriction, you might check to see whether you can use other boards on your system.

Hi ptillisch.
Finally I found the issue . I used Windows 11 with mode S which block when I used ARDUINO IDE. I have uninstalled mode S in order to can use correctly ARDUINO IDE. Now no issue about cmd.exe.
If you want identify this issue, you can to dowload ARDUINO IDE with microsoft store and try. I think that you will have the same issue.

But again many thanks for your reply.

Thanks for taking the time to post an update with your solution. I'm glad it is working now.

Regards,
Per
