Forum in Updateprogress?

Unfortunately the forum community seems to have largely eschewed the use of that communication channel.

Two posible reasons

1. About the Website and Forum category.
2. Most forum users don't know about the github channels. And it's very difficult to find; I knew of the existence but I think that I had to use google to find it back. It's not on Arduino · GitHub and I'm not even sure if it's in Arduino · GitHub ; who is going to dig through 8 pages?

I did a pretty thorough tidy up in the issue tracker after the switch to the Discourse forum software.

I guess you did The list of open issues was small.

but some issues are about a defect that I was never able to reproduce even at the time the report was submitted, so I can't verify that it was resolved.

Some seem to be specific for issues with the old forum that might no longer be or no longer are applicable.

It is a reasonable place to report technical problems with the forum software.

It's the only place that I'm aware of where the normal forum user can check if it's a known problem and possibly can follow progress once the forum is giving grief. I'd like to suggest that Arduino does open an issue there when something like this happens, even if it's only for the few that know about the channel.
