The search bar has been commandeered by chrome.
whenever i try to search the forum it takes me to a google search.
Computers are starting to be the vein of my life, so it could be me and my settings.
i dont know - im not a computer wizkid.
any thoughts much appreciated
IIRC this is done by design as the google search of the forum is way faster than the internal search engine of the forum SW.
The google search is automatically restricted to the forum site by means of the site: parameter.
google site:forum.arduino.cc
There are more options, e.g.
google file:pdf

The search bar will, as Rob said, use Google Advanced Search to find results. It works perfectly!
One thing the Google search does not do that the old forum search did is to list starting with the most recent post.
