True but that is not necessarily the main function of a Fritzing diagram. One of its main purposes is to show a new/inexperienced user how to assemble a circuit by connecting up components on a bread board. Even SparkFun uses Fritzing diagrams for this purpose:

I must admit I am no great fan of these, especially those which have been very carelessly put together with essential detail obscured and blurred. I've even collected some of the worst examples in a gallery Fritzing Diagram - Rogues Gallery . However, I do concede that there is a place for well drawn Fritzing diagrams for getting new users started.
