Fritzing library.

Hi friends, i am so new to fritzing and electronic.

I am trying to create my project on fritzing to get help but my fritzing libary is so poor to do that.

Where can i download the components?

Maybe from Fritzing?

Fritzing is a waste of time. It produces a scrambled mess that is impossible for any real engineere to read.

and it produces breadboard views that some users send here as "schematics" ]

but the library is far from poor ! which component do yo need ? did you try to use the search field ?

Fritzing is for people that haven't mastered the art of holding a crayon yet.

@beingobserver - do yourself a favour and delete Fritzing. Instead download a real schematic capture package (there are many free ones, some better than others - and even some online ones) and teach yourself how to draw a proper schematic.

Whenever we see a Fritzing drawing we are secretly sniggering behind our screens at the person that posts it. Well, I am anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

@alnath it was 8 channel 5v relay.

But it is not important anymore because i am going to remove it after hearing that "sniggering"

I am going to use a paper and will try to learn how to draw proper schematic. It will take time but its a bit real investment i think.

Thank you.

Useful component reference chart:

Make your crossing or joining wires obvious:

More tips:

  1. Keep your inputs on the left, and your outputs on the right.
  2. Keep your positive power (Vcc, +5V etc) towards the top and your negative power (GND, etc) towards the bottom.
  3. Try and keep your components oriented in their "standard" direction if applicable - mainly things like transistors - base to the left, collector/emitter to top/bottom or bottom/top depending on circuit and transistor type.

@majenko Thank you for the reference.

@Nick Gammon I am a mac user and i think ExpressPCB is just for Windows only. I will search for an alternative. Thank you.

Yes but you can run it under Wine:

I installed the wine a few days ago but gave up because i couldn't understand how to use it.

So i need to try again  Thank you so much.

With Wine installed I just downloaded that file (ExpressPCBSetup.exe) and it offered to run it:

Once the installer completed it was in my "C" drive of my Wine directory. (actually /Users/nick/Wine Files/drive_c )

I used the Wine icon on the menu bar to open the File Manager:

Inside "Program Files" I found ExpressPCB folder and inside that ExpressSCH.exe (program):

@Nick Gammon you are a wizard.

I had chosen converting os x app. option. Thats why i couldn't. Thank you.

I think Fritzing is ONLY good for making a 'wiring diagram' for others to follow..

IMHO...
NOT for schematics
NOT for BOARD design..

Give Eagle a try..
