Arduino Duemilanove + MotroShield + old FrontLoader
I've found 4 years old frontloader in my sandbox. It was full of sand. I had to disassemble all the gearboxes and wipe sand out to make motors run. It still does not work very good. There are 3 motors - for wheels, for buzz/shaking and for loading and unloading.
Unfortunately, only buzz buzzes like new, other motors and gearboxes are barely moving things. Yet, my kids are happy
