Frustrating not being able to fix "A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32: No serial data received" error

Hi Perry
Frustrating not being able to fix "A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32: No serial data received" error. I already updated the CP2102 USB driver. use the BOOT button to upload the file, buy a new data cable, and test on two ESP32 cards (to see if any are wrong). None of these attempts work what may be happening

Frustration aside:

What:

  • Operating system
  • IDE Version
  • Is your issue that you cannot connect your ESP32 to your PC running the IDE?
  • Have you checked the "device Manager" (if windows)? You should see or not see the board under "Ports". It should be COM number above 1.
  • What ESP32 board do you have?

Hi John

I already solved it connect the COM5 port
