FS-IA6B and Mega2560

Hello Everyone:

I am using a Flysky Tx and Rx with no issues. I notice that if I shut off the Transmitter (controller) while a motor is running then the motor will continue to run (at last transmitted throttle position) even though there is no signal from the controller. If this were a drone or airplane it would thus run away.

The FS-IA6B does sense when the Transmitter is no longer transmitting (by flashing LED on its body). Is there any way via Arduino code to "read" the status from the FS-IA6B? Thus is contact is lost for what ever reason the robot will can shut down motors, etc.

Thank you in advance.

All the FlySky Tx/Rx I've met can set failsafe for any channel. I think it defaults to HOLD so you need to get into the Tx failsafe settings and change the appropriate channels to 0 or whatever value means stop. No Arduino needed.

Thanks Steve! I mucked around with it after I posted this and yes, got to work fine. Thank you!
