I would like to know what are the differences between FT232RL and ST-link?
The FT232RL has on one side a USB interface and on the other side an RS232 interface with TTL levels.
Serves to write, read a good amount and types of micro controllers.
I use it a lot with Arduino mini, ESP8266, ESP32, ESP32CAM, etc.
I have never used ST-link, but from what I researched it is for recording and debugging of the full range of STM32 SWD and the full range of STM8 SWIM.
