FTDI 3.3V cable with Arduino Pro Mini 5V

I have a USB-to-TTL cable which is marked FT232R-3V3 (runs at 3.3 Volt), and the 5V Pro Mini Arduino.

Are they going to work properly together or should I change one of them?

I would change one or make some logic level translators.
