I burned my ATmega16U2, so i bought this FTDI board to make the Arduino work again:

Some say that the wiring is simple but i cant get it right :0
This is the conf
mikroeE Arduino
RX TX
TX RX
CTS GND
RTS ---
Vcc Vin
Gnd Gnd
DTR +104 con - RESTART
Not working , im getting this all the time :
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
when i open Device Manager , its says Serial Port instead of Arduino.
Any help appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, it says serial port because it talks to the FTDI chip directly, and not the Arduino.
The avrdude line says the chip isn't talking.
I already mentioned you can't connect Vcc to Vin, it needs to connect to preferably the green PTC device where USB power comes in, or to the 5V header pin.
Vin goes thru the regulator, and you won't have 5V at the uC anymore.
Once you have good 5V around the board, try swapping the Rx/Tx lines if its still not talking.
