Geeetech voice control

So i’m trying to control my lights in my room with voice control, and didn’t want to program it in python so I took the easy way and just make it with this module(geeetech voice control).
It all went well until I ran in to the problem that my arduino doesn’t pick up the hexidecimal code that it should sent, when I try to read it out I just get a 255 value of my byte, idk if I have to put the dec to hex or what, I get nothing at my built in led and i’m toooo lazy to get a real led and try that out(i quess i’ll have to)

Here is my code:
#include <SoftwareSerial.h>
uint16_t com = 0;
SoftwareSerial mySerial(10, 11);
void setup() {
Serial.begin(9600);
mySerial.begin(9600);
while (!mySerial) {
;
}
Serial.println(“already here”);
pinMode(LED_BUILTIN, OUTPUT);
delay(2500);
mySerial.write(0xAA);
mySerial.write(0x37);
delay(1500);
mySerial.write(0xAA);
mySerial.write(0x21);
}

void loop()
{
while (mySerial.available())
{
com = mySerial.read();
Serial.println(com);
switch (com)
{
case 0x11:
digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, HIGH);

    break;
  case 0x12:
  digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, LOW);

    break;
  case 0x13:

    break;
  case 0x14:

    break;
  case 0x15:

    break;
}

}
}
