Hi All,
I have Geeetech voice recognition pcb with having spent some-time playing with it, found it works quite well for my purposes. So after testing and development I needed to integrate it into my project which meant extending the microphone cable. Rather than that, I decided to use the Voc/Gnd connection to connect an alternate microphone (electret) device, as per the Geetech manual. Since that point on now when powered up, it initially has the bright flashing LED but eventually (after few commands), it stops responding to any commands and the LED goes dim red. I have since removed the microphone connection and tried the original microphone but it still doing the same thing. It feels like I've buggered it up. Any ideas on what this could be and how to troubleshoot the problem - maybe a reset ?!
Many thanks.
Nosomis.
Schematic and voltmeter come to mind.

Thanks but no. It turned out to be my PC not playing nicely and the coms were dropping out. Working ok now on the laptop.
However, now there is a new problem:
While the voice commands are successfully stored and recognized within the serial interface environment, when I run the code on the Arduino, it is not recognizing (or responding). The code runs and VRM led slowly flashes but just doesn't seem to be listening or recognising my voice commands. Have checked the code, wiring and microphone.
So I'm going nutz at the moment trying to work out whats going on.
Hi,
What code and what model Arduino?
Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.

It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.
