generate pulse for metal detector

hi
i am noob in arduino ! :confused:
i want to generate pulse with arduino with pulse width 100-200 us and frequency 70-300 hz
but this shoulndt be disrupt by other code or it disrupts the other code ! (tone,pwm, analog read or write,digital read or write)
i want to use it for pi metal detector to drive mosfet with it !

is it possible ?
