When I try to open arduino-0012, I get a security warning that says:
OPEN FILE SECURITY WARNING
THE PUBLISHER COULD NOT BE VERIFIED -
ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO OPEN THIS SOFTWARE?
name: ARDUINO.exe
PUBLISHER UNKNOWN
I can still open the software, after I get a second warning, but when I open and verify a sketch, such as BLINK, I get another error message stating: PROBLEM WITH DOWNLOAD , then error messages >>
avrdude:stk500_getsync():not in sync: resp=0x00
The sketch cannot be uploaded to the RBBB ckt. board.
Does the avrdude error message have anything to do with the UNKNOWN PUBLISHER warning?
I have connected an Arduino compatable RBBB to my PC using a P4 TTL - TS232 converter/serial programming adapter. The devices are connected to the serial port or my PC using RS232 9-pin D connectors and cable. My PC operates on Windows XP
Thank you
