Getting Arduino to use USB port on Mega

Hello,

Using latest version 1.0.5, Arduino Mega thinks it's programing with AVRDude on /dev/ttySo.

So when down loading, it times out trying to use AVRDude.

What I have read, it needs to be ttyACMo (O or Zero)?

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32 Bit.

I have tried most the hints, but still it sticks at /ttSo?

Any one solved the same problem/

Good News too!

The only one it shows is ttySo?

But Guess What, I had another Mega in my stuff! It shows both ports!

It works on Unbuntu?

I think both boards work in Windows?

Something wrong with the one that won't work In Unbuntu. Could it be re-programmed or is the serial port programmed wrong? I think the serial port is a micro?

So I am going forward! Thanks for the quick help!
