Getting endpoint of the servo motor

Hi there

looking for help by a part of my little project.
I can write a servo, but how can I get an information if the resistance is increasing.

For example. I'm using a 360° servo motor, and this is moving a threaded rod.
At the upper and lower end, the Arduino should recognize it, and stop the servo rotation.

I tried the voltage, but it didn't really do what I wanted.
Maybe it has to be another parameter?

Quit writing nonsense jargon, and start making sense, and providing useful detail.

The general solution is to put a limit switch at each end of travel of whatever the threaded rod is driving. There is no way to tell from the servo itself, or from the threaded rod (such as counting rotations) because there is no say to know the position you started at.
