When i try to upload a sketch it says

this happen after i upload sketch relating to gsm
Can you upload simple example programs such as Blink ?

Search google or the troubleshooting forum with your error message:
avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte
It looks like a problem that has nothing to do with your program.
Alright thanks..does it something related to the bootloader?
Check the board that you have selected in the IDE. Does it match the board that you are using ?
Help im keep getting this error when try to upload a sketch even the simplest one such as the blink..

What hardware do you have attached to the Arduino? Nothing, nada, zip, zilch is the ONLY correct answer at this point.
This problem occurs when i attached a rs232 converter to the board...because im trying to connect with a gsm modem..but i failed to get the gsm connected to the arduino though..after i remove the converter the error still persist ..
