Hey, im looking forward into buying a ardunio board. Im going for a Elegoo kit since the pricing very good. I Have questions about how to set up and not not to short or break the things since I’ve done that with a bunch of other projects in the past. I have some some knowledge on how basic components work, but none of the technical stuff like how ohms and how to read circuit diagrams. I plan to use the Arduino project book that can be found online or in the official arduno kit to learn. Is there anything i should know before buying?

If you add "Massimo Banzi" to the end of @Delta_G 's suggestion, you may find a whole book that is among the best beginner resources of all.

Np! If the style isn't yours, "The Arduino Cookbook" is another oft cited resource that's chock full of Arduino coding examples for tons of scenarios.
