getting more than 6 analog inputs from Arduino NG?

Hey folks,

Is there a way to get more than the 6 analog inputs from the Arduino NG? I have heard about those 'multiplexers' or something but I am a newcomer to this microcontroller stuff and would like to ask if anyone has done that before.

I basically need to have 28 analog inputs to measure 28 pots, and I just need to find the most cost effective solution to reading the pot values into the computer.

Try this:

these guys used analog multiplexer chips to read <<63>> differnt analog sensors with one Arduino. Scrool half way down the page, and they even give you a schematic and code.
