Hi guys,
I have an arduino giga and I am trying to make it connect to the arduino IoT cloud. But it is showing up as offline even though I ahve connected the usb and the wifi anntena to the board. Do any of you have a solution??

Hi @williamnumismatics. Have you uploaded an Arduino Cloud IoT Thing sketch to the GIGA R1 WiFi board yet?
The Device will only have an "online" status in Arduino Cloud after it has connected through the Internet to the Arduino Cloud server. The connection to Arduino Cloud is handled by the code in the Thing sketch.
Ok but It can not upload
Please provide a detailed description of what you mean by this in a reply on this forum thread, including:

- What were the results you expected from doing that thing?

I connected the arduino giga r1 wifi to the usb c and i set it up. then i tried to upload an on and off sketch but the device was 'offline'
Did the upload complete successfully?
The result of an upload is shown in the Cloud Editor status bar. If an upload is successful, it will show a "Done Uploading ..." message:
If the upload failed, it will instead show an "Error Uploading ..." message:
@williamnumismatics please make a stronger effort to communicate. I guess you think you are saving time by making these vague short posts, but I assure you that is not so.
The people who take the time to provide the helpers here with sufficient information from the start often receive a solution within a matter of minutes. The ones who don't do that might go through days of frustrating back and forth as we struggle to squeeze the information out of them.

unfortunately not. The compile button can not be pressed. I tried changing the cable it also didn't work.
Do I have to connect the wifi antenna? thanks

It is odd that you refer to the "compile button" in response to my question about uploading.
The upload button is the one that looks like a rightward pointing arrow (➜):
