Giga R1 Cannot upload from RPI4 Running Ubuntu22.04.03

Tried uploading a sketch from the RPI4 running Aduino IDE 2.2.1 (OS Ubuntu 22.04.03) and fails with the following error:

Sketch uses 158996 bytes (8%) of program storage space. Maximum is 1966080 bytes.
Global variables use 49536 bytes (9%) of dynamic memory, leaving 474088 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 523624 bytes.

I tried the solution as shown in this post which resolved the issue
