Hi @rinus85.
Please provide a detailed description of what you mean by "wont apear in my system" in a forum reply here, including:
- What did you do?
- What were the results you expected from doing that thing?
- What were the results you observed that did not match your expectations?
- Which operating system (e.g., "Windows") are you using?
Make sure to include the full and exact text of any error or warning messages you might have encountered.

Hello Elizabeth,
Strange you let me do this because there is no board connected we both know it’s not gone work but ofcourse i did it here is the foto of the code i get back
Let's investigate the other more common causes before jumping to that conclusion.
I'm here to try to help you get the board you have working. Let's focus on that for now. If it turns out that you have to resort to a return, you will need to contact Arduino customer service for that since we don't handle such things here on the forum.
Now, to the problem you are having:
Please try this troubleshooting procedure and then report your results in a reply on this forum thread:
This procedure is not intended to solve the problem. The purpose is to gather more information.
- Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer.
- Open the Windows Device Manager.
- Select View > Devices by type from the Device Manager menus.
- Open the "View" menu.
- If there is a ✓ to the left of the "Show hidden devices" menu item, click on "Show hidden devices" to disable it.
- Take note of the contents of the "Other devices" and "Ports (COM & LPT)" sections of the Device Manager tree.
- Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable.
- Select Action > Scan for hardware changes" from the Device Manager menus.
Did you see any new device appear in the Device Manager tree after doing this? If so, please tell us where it is located in the tree and what it is named.
You can repeat steps 5-8 multiple times if you are not sure.
The Arduino hardware ecosystem is incredibly diverse and becoming more so every day. Some boards don't produce ports and don't use ports for uploading. So Arduino IDE must allow uploads even when no port is selected in order to support such hardware.
Let's focus on trying to solve your problem rather than on whether or not specific irrelevant behaviors of Arduino IDE make sense.
