Glasses case er... case.

I picked up this suede/faux suede glasses case for £2 earlier - I saw it and thought it was about the right size for an arduino.

I decided to add a power socket and switch, LED and a db15 socket so I can add peripherals.

I was surprised to find it's made of metal, so it's pretty sturdy. It's also pretty roomy - it'll fit a shield without problem.

So far I've added the power socket and switch, but I need to get to bed so I'll finish it off tomorrow. I just wanted to show it off

awsome idea!

EDIT: wouldn't it be a 25 pin? 14 digital, and 6 analog???

Any further specs? ;D

Great!. Here's what I did with a multimeter cardboard box. The arduino is mounted on the inside of the top cover.

I know what I want to use this for, and I won't need the 15 pins of the socket I intend adding. I've got a d15 port to hand though.

As for that cardboard box case - love it
I used to run a PC from a slim cardboard box.
