Thanks to Mr. Korney Czukowski for publishing his code on Github.
I had a few Arduino Shields, USB-I2C adapters and I2C_LED_Keyboard controllers based on Flexel, and was sad to see the website disappear. Seemed like well designed and manufactured products. The owner was selling via ebay in 2013, but seems to have left the market.
