GLCD - overlapping textareas

Hello everyone,
I am here again asking for more help.
How do I create a square placed over a text like in this video?

Unfortunately I accidentally closed without saving, and I can not post the code. Excuse me!

The method I use is:
-I create the menu
-when I press a button I create a new textArea.
-clearArea
-drawing the outline of the square.
-I position the cursor
-I write in the text with t1.print

Surely there is something wrong because the new textArea I continue to see the text below ("transparency" and flashes).

What's wrong?

I'm not quite understanding the problem.
I'm not understanding what your code is doing vs what we are seeing in the video.

What do you mean by this:

Having code to look at would really help.
