Have some trouble with salvaged glcd. Can't indentify pinout. Just know that pin 3 is tied to ground and 17, 18 are backlight. Need help if someone knows.
Getting this LCD to work is tricky without the rest of the device where it was salvaged from.
I expect pin 1 and 2 to be related to the power supply and contrast voltage. (directly connected to C6, C7)
U5 could be the generator for the contrast voltage. What are the markings on it?
Probably its output is connected to another pin. And this chip shouldt reveal the pin for the power supply and ground.
But the rest is guessing.
