try Digikey, or even better, try to get free samples from Maxim. Check their site, they are easy to get, at least in Canada.

PS: I just remembered that the ADXL330 is inside the wand for the Ninteno Wii.. and it costs less than a new chip. You just have to hair-dryer it off!
Check the Sparkfun site for a tutorial on how to take apart the Wii, complete with a picture of where the ADXL330 is.
