I'm looking for jumper wires for prototyping (heck, even for use in a final product) but I would really like to find a pack that is an assortment of M/M, F/F, AND M/F ends, and probably in a variety of lengths.
Anyone know any place that sells packs like that?
I use lan cat5 cable and just strip it down only the single core one I guess that doesn't really help.
Despite the rather grumpy attitude conveyed by his ebay pages, I bought jumper assortments from this guy, and was satisfied with what I got. They weren't top quality, but they were really cheap, and shipped within a day or so of purchase, so I consider them "a very good deal". At his prices, I don't mind cutting up the jumpers to make custom cable assemblies like, say, "D-sub-to-breadboard jumpers".
Seems beyond Grumpy to me: He says he's against extortion from customers... which I totally understand... but then says: "By necessity, any none 5 stars DSR giver will be blocked from future buying."
I think I'll pass and buy from China.
why china does the same thing, but they are even more ahole about it, I bought some matrices from him, and I dont remember if I rated him or not, if he has a problem with my return buying then screw him
I really hate buying anything off of ebay anymore, every single one of them need to drop off the face of the earth
the matrices were fine, shoved into styrofoam, bent pins and snail mailed the crappiest way possible (oh and the data sheet was wrong)
not the greatest deal ever, but not the worst

I just broke down and ordered a set of 70 wires from a Chinese seller for less than $4 shipped. And I am trapped out of town on business so the time it will take to get here from China will still beat me home.

yea its not a big deal to buy from china to a point, what? are you really going to pay this douche a middle man fee for buying stuff from china and sticking a star spangled banner on every image? Just to get extorted for a 5 star rating that any china dealer is going to place on you anyway?
what I do have a issue with is people like sparkfun, who spend now months whining about getting ripped off by china dealers when every single item in their store is from china ... deal with the devil and you might get burned, if your ok with that fine, but dont whine for half a year about it
like I said I bought some led matrices from him, not at a great deal, poorly packaged, wrong data sheet, took longer than 5 days that they boast about to ship, but they work (after I manually unbent 320 pins)
not giving a double thumbs up and a hell yea, just another ebay junk dealer acting more important than they are
