Bought a new Uno yesterday, and used it today only to find that it can't draw high power if not using the USB connection. I connected a small servo to it and run the sweep test program. With USB it runs perfectly. As soon as I connected a DC adapter to it, it runs the fist sweep starts the second then seems to restart, and jump to the beginning again. After buying a new adapter, and seeing the same issue, I tried my old beetup arduino, and it works fine. Can someone tell me whats causing this?????
How is the servo powered? If from the 5V pin on the power header, you are likely overcurrenting the regulator and causing a reset.
I thought that as well, so I powerd it seperately same issue, I also don't have that problem with the old arduino.
Sorry I take that back I redit the rig, and I was drawing too much.... its working now, I guess I have a tougher older arduino XD
