Got Error Message when do the Blink sketch

Hello, I’m a new user who wants to start learning Arduino. I’ve had my Arduino for 6 months, but I’ve never used it because I was too lazy.
Now that I’m trying to learn, I’m worried that my Arduino might need to run the Burn bootloader — is that right? Because Chatgpt told that

I’m not sure, so I hope you can help me.
Even when I try a basic code like the Blink sketch, my Arduino gives me an error message.

Sketch uses 924 bytes (2%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

  • What Arduino board are you using, is this selected in the IDE .

  • What port did you select ?

i use Arduino Uno R3 bro and this arduino original and i use the port Com 5 As stated in the Arduino IDE.
I dont know why this happen

  • Do you have Arduino UNO selected in the IDE as your board ?

  • Try the loop back test.

https://support.arduino.cc/hc/en-us/articles/360020366520-How-to-do-a-loopback-test

yeah bro ,i already do it Arduino uno as my board.I have tried loop back test too.and the result is when i try to send text to serial monitor is my message was sent but without appearing first.it just disappeared

depending on how precise you asked chatGPT the answer is precise or just wild guessing.

This tells you that your computer does not receive answers from your microcontroller.
possible reasons:

  • driver not installed
  • wrong com-port
  • using IO-pins 0 and 1 for any kind of devices like led, relais etc.

So for analysing the problem

Does the microcontroller show up in the device-manager?
Post a link to where you have bought your arduino Uno R3
Post a picture of your real Arduino Uno R3
post not a somewhere found picture. There are Uno R3 with different serial chips on the market.
