Looking to purchase a shield to connect to the mobile network to use data/voice/sms.
The GPRS playground shield is £91 GBP (~$135) and the SM5100B is £69 (~$102).
I've had a google around and generally it seems the GPRS Playground shield is more reliable, although this is just based on various posts, no fair tests.
Does anyone recommend any one of these shields over another? Is the £91 justified over the £69? If so reasons would be appreciated.
