GPRS Strange Action

I am using that GPRS shield.Everything works fine with my project.Just something looks realy strange.


I have connected the GPRS to my Arduino Mega2560 like this:

GPRS's Tx to Mega's Tx1
GPRS's Rx to Mega's Rx1

Its opposite from normal conenction,right? But its working.And if i switch to normal connection the GPRS seems not working (sending sms,calls etc).

How its that possibly;

Connectors are very often confusingly labeled.

"TX" could mean that data are transmitted from that connector, or that connector is intended to be wired to "TX" on something else.

I think of it too..but seems a bit silly.

Anyway the shield works perfect,i hope its just a wrong typed or meaning.
