Hi, i want to make a GPS guided robot to move to waypoints i give to, do i need a GPS module only or a GPS module and a campus module ??
Compass modules are a great help for determining the robot's orientation, and for keeping on course when the GPS satellite reception drops out.
To be used as a compass, the magnetometer MUST be calibrated on the robot.

With a GPS only, when the robot is stationary, it wont know which way it is pointing.
GPSs dont work at all well indoors.
