If it's or inside the "if" statement, it won't check all serial port as long as there is one port is available, it will read from all port.
But I assume the software serial port, ss, has value cause when Serial.println((char)ss.read()); is on.
All the other hardware serial port, Serial 1~3, can all print with no doubt.
