GPS EM-406 no flashing

Hi …

I have connected GPS EM-406 and use NewSoftSerial.

Sometimes it works… ok… :slight_smile:

But sometimes, and now since many hours, it doesnt work, Led is “on”, but no flashing !!! :frowning:

any idea …? :-[

I just got the same module and have been playing with it.

You really need a clear view of the sky. I have a Garmin GPS with a Sirf III chip in it, and the garmin works inside the house no problems.

I have to put the EM-406 practically outside to get the LED blinking it seems. And even then the results are sketchy.

Have you tried it with a full view of the sky?
