I recently bought a 32u4 with A9G GPRS/GSM/GPS board from Electow, and the GPS module cable popped right off. Can anyone advise on how to repair?
Its only the cable so chances are you should be able to see where it was actually connects and re-solder it after stripping back the cable a little.
If you have problems seeing where it was connected use google to get pictures of the module and chances are you will find one with enough resolution to be able to see where to re-solder from that.
that has a "U.FL' connector. I won't have them, they pop off too easy. the cable should just pop back on, until you twist it a tiny bit, which will pop it right back off...
I would look for a module with a proper SMA connector, or get a cable with an SMA connector and solder it to where the U.Fl connector was before I pitched it
Solder it back on, and glue it to the back of the board with hot-melt glue. Whenever you have wires soldered directly to a PCB, glue them against the board, otherwise they fatigue and snap where they meet the board.
