Ive got a GSM module sim7600 and from tutorials ive found online they recommended the baudrate of the GSM module to be 9600. ive tried researching on why is this the case, but have found no leads. so the question is why 9600? how does baudrate affect the performance anyway?
The Baud rate determines how fast data can be transferred between the module and the controlling MCU.
You will need to decide, for your particular application, how to define "performance" and whether the Baud rate would affect that.
So these tutorials say you should not set the baud rate to a rate other that 9600 ?
