GSM Board can't read SIM card

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get a GSM shield to work but it always fails to begin the GSM access. I then tried to run the PinManagement example but the output is always this:

PIN & PUK locked. Use PIN2/PUK2 in a mobile phone.

The issue here is when I use the SIM on a phone i can unlock it normally. I have tried with a fresh SIM (not having used it with the GSM shield) and the output is the same.

I'm using a 12V 1A with a non-original Arduino UNO board and an original GSM shield 2.
