Not sure what's going on but recently the Arduino GUI has started acting flakey. Here's a screenshot of what I mean. Anyone ever experience this?
I have similar problems, the difference is that I see none of the menu items. A workaround for me is to switch the color depth of my Windows XP Control Panel/Display/Settings from 32 bit to 16 bit.

Setting color depth to 16 didn't do anything. I wonder if this is driver related. I dont really want to install a new video card driver as the one I have is running my game pretty well right now and I dont want to change anything.
I get this every now and then... but it goes away after a few seconds... Does yours stay like this until you restart the IDE?
It says like that even after I restard the IDE. Just started happening. There must a conflict of some sort. Like I said, I wanna try a new video driver but my racing sim is tuned in with this driver I tried uninstalling Java and re-installing but I dont think java is required because the IDE worked even after I uninstalled java as I tried to duplicate the problem with java uninstalled and it persisted.
I guess I should add that I'm runing Windows 7 64bit RC.
I have heard of many font /text/gui bugs in 64 bit OS's, is there an arduino IDE for 64 bit?
Ok, I think I managed to fix it. What I did was went into my nVidia control panel and I reset the global settings to default. I must have selected a non-default parameter in the global profile for some reason. Maybe I enabled SLI or something. Anyway, that did it for me so try that if you experience the same issue.
