GUI with arduino

For those people who know about the history of apple computers, you know that GUI means graphical user interface. I saw this lcd screen on sparkfuns website Color LCD - Breakout Board - LCD-08600 - SparkFun Electronics
What i wanted to do with this is attach it to the arduino and create some sort of graphical user interface with the added buttons on the breakout board. I have no clue how to do this, any advice? Thanks

Im still searching, what i wanted to do with this project is create more like icons with a computer mouse...... like this propeller + mouse + oLED - YouTube
in this video the person has used a computer mouse and a drawing application.

My plan is to display on the oled screen and painting program with arduino. like this video

Hi,

Does it have to be in color?
If not you should take a look at the graphical KS0108 library.

Phil,

That is a nice toy you got there.
In your video you say that you will add more information to the projects space, is that the exhibition area here on the forum?

Will this kit be available with a larger display?
