Guidance on changing onboard sensor

Board: Nano 33 BLE Sense Rev2
The onboard lps22hb sensor is giving false readings and I am sure that its damaged (I gave 1.018 hPa which is higher than sea level pressure). I want to replace the lps22hb sensor with a new one. While searching for its replacement sensor, I came across lps22df which has much better relative pressure accuracy. Is it possible to use lps22df instead of lps22hb on the same board? Also, when I compared the i2c address as well as the register address, they were almost same. PS I have an experienced soldering guy and he can do the soldering without any issues.
