Normally people recommend the rc522 rfid sensor (what you are referring to in the link) but i have a really bad experience with these sensors they only work with the provide rfid tag and the card nothing else, and the other thing is if you are going with these sensors then buy them from a trusted place (because I brought 10 of these and only 1 worked) so make sure to buy from a trusted source.
