GxEPD2 with small AVR MCU and Atmel Studio

Hi

I have been using the GxEPD2 lib with ESP32 and RP2040 to run a 1.54" BW display with good results, using the Arduino IDE environment.

Now I would like to run the 1.54" display with a simple and small MCU, AVR32DD14, using the Atmel Studio IDE.

Can I use the GxEPD2_AVR lib for this?
Is GxEPD2_AVR the best choice for the AVR32DD14?

Any hints on how to setup things to get it working?

The display I am using is the DEPG0150BN 200x200, SSD1681, (FPC8101)
