Err ... yes but it only gives direction and not distance or speed.

GPS only gives one position. One has to calculate speed and course from at least two samples of position and time. Also, GPS is only going to be accurate for distances well beyond just a couple of metres and the accuracy of any speed and direction calculations based on position will reflect the accuracy of your GPS position values.
ok thank you so I need gps and gyro I am new at Arduino I have played around with a few things I made a Arduino mouse trap but now I want to build a track vehicle that I can use to scout around my farm I have all the mechanical side of it sorted out now its the brain of it I am trying to get my head around.
