I've been playing with GY-GPS6MV2 GPS module I bought from e-bay for a couple of days now. It works nicely in combination with arduino uno and 16x2 LCD screen giving me clock and speed while in the car. Out of curiosity I measured current flow to the GPS module using DMM and it read 250mA !! It is connected to the +5V of the arduino which has limit of 200mA if I'm right. I saw other people use the same module and I'm wondering is something wrong with my sample. It is working as espected, mind you! I would be grateful if someone with the same module can confirm this.
