Only to turn them on/off. One can look at a relay as a double sided switch controlled by electric current.
Well it won't, but i suggested to use a transistor to 'choke' the power. Since i intended to have the transistor partly open / closed, it would be more appropriate than a mosfet.
Another option could be to control the voltage using a variabel regulator.
