I'm not talking about changing their code/infrastructure/firmware..
I'm talking about using an Arduino (yun, in my case) to monitor the LED output, and acting as a switch contact closure (via a FET, BTW) to Turn On, Turn Off, Snap pictures, and monitor the LED to determine what is happening in the HackHD camera module.
I'm hoping someone has developed a library that can be timer/interrupt-driven to monitor the LED's various blinks, steady-state(s), and even dim-ness, to present a clear state to an Arduino app trying to control it...
None of this requires any interaction with closed-source software.
Still hoping someone will respond who has this all well-understood and coded-up into a library.
