Hacking an fpv OSD

My hobby is to fly rc planes and drone, I was wandering if it's possible to hack an fpv osd.

What I think will be interesting is if I can make the osd with the help of an arduino to talk to me in critical conditions, for example when I'm flying low under 50meters, or when I have an over speed, or no gps signal etc.
I want to hear a voice saying OVER SPEED, FLYING LOW, NO GPS etc.

I want to know how will it be possible to get the data from the OSD in to the arduino and have a sketch that will identify the low altitude, over speed (over 50km), no gps signal etc. and when it dose to play a corresponding mp3 file .

Thank you for your time !!!

Grazy Pilot.

If all you have at the receiver is the image the OSD generates then what you want is difficult (I'm assuming here that the OSD is overlayed at the transmitter end) because all you have is image data.

On the other, if the OSD is overlayed at the receiver end, this implies you have an extra channel returning OSD data from the drone, and if you can tap this, you're laughing.

will it be possible if I use this data link?

Not legally in Europe.
You should use a 868MHz Link.

Yes I know if I use the 868Mhz will I be able to get the data from that?
And if yes how can I get the data and input it to the arduino so I can make my alerts?

Thank you for your time !!!
