Hello all,i was wondering does anyone have a reference they can point me too,im wanting to be able to have a pan and tilt camera that i can access over wifi/AP and interface with a arduino,i know what you are thinking "use a esp cam" but i need more gpio pins and using a shift register wont cut it for me also i am trying to use the pan tilt and gpio outputs in a single GUI(webserver or app) so im wondering if someone knows a way to do this or can point me in the direction of some where i can learn more about doing this,
How many more? How many inputs? How many outputs?
Why?
i know what you are thinking "use a esp cam" but i need more gpio pins
Same question as @johnwaser;
How many pins, 1, 2 ?
About 10 outputs and 5 inputs, in total
Shift reg wont work cause i need pwm on some pins and some pins will be not turn on without other pins being on first,
Just updated the parameters
If you use an Arducam OV2640;
Then that needs not many pins and some, the SPI and I2C migh be shared with other devices.
An ESP32 module has 22 IO pins which might be enough and has WiFi and Bluetooth as well.
A ESP32S2 module has 37 IO pins but no Bluetooth as I recall.
How many of the 10 outputs need PWM?
4 pwm
Just so im on the same page as both of you,the best option would to be to just interface with a arduino style camera module and nottry to hack a store bought cam
That makes no sense to me.
An Arducam OV2640 is a "store bought cam" and there is no need to "hack" it to work with Arduinos.
I mean off the shelf camera not module when i said that
